COVID-19 GREEN alert NSWHealth
GREEN alert: low risk of transmission
Commencing on Wednesday 18 November 2020, NSW Health services moved from amber to GREEN alert in line with the COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control Response Framework.
GREEN alert: low risk of transmission.
What does GREEN alert mean for you?
1. Standard precautions still apply – i.e. hand hygiene, physical distancing, cough etiquette and respiratory hygiene
2. Healthcare workers (including non-clinical staff in public-facing roles) no longer need to wear a surgical mask when within 1.5 metres of a patient
3. Patients are not required to wear masks
4. Ensure screening and triage processes are in place to manage patients with suspected, probable or confirmed COVID-19
Looking forward to seeing you back at our centre face-to-face soon.
